Dear colleagues and friends,

on behalf of the German Society of Gene Therapy we cordially invite you to attend the 15th annual meeting of our society held in conjunction with the 6th annual workshop of the study group „Viral Vectors and Gene Therapy“ of the Gesellschaft für Virologie.

Gene therapy is a young, emerging discipline at the intersection of basic life science and clinical medicine. With increasing numbers of scientists entering the field both conceptual and clinical progress in the field as well as advice on technical developments are requested. To meet these needs we have organized a preceding educational session on novel developments held by specialists in the respective fields.

For the main program, we are happy to have attracted internationally well-known experts to give overview talks on various fields of gene therapy followed by short talks selected from the submitted abstracts. In addition, a „lunch-and-view“ poster session will offer ample time to meet and discuss.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Berlin.
