DG-GT Academy

What is this?

This first DG-GT e.V. Academy will be a workshop on genome & epigenome editing for PhD students, MD/PhD students or early postdocs whose project is related to the topic.

 

When?
December 5-7, 2023, with a break-the-ice dinner on December 4.

Medical Center - University of Freiburg

 

Eligibility:

If you are working on genome editing or epigenome editing and want to discuss your project with leading experts in the field, this DG-GT e.V. Academy is the right place to be. You should be at least in the second year of your PhD and willing to present your project and sharing your expertise with your fellow students and experts. You will receive advice from leading experts in the field and your fellow students. Experts will be present throughout the workshop and will give lectures on their own work in addition to sharing their expertise with you.

The workshop offers in addition ample opportunity of networking and will start with a get-together on December 4th. Besides a training in a relaxed atmosphere, we plan to visit a local biotech, and we seek to discover Freiburg, our hosting venue.

Since we can offer only a limited number of places, please apply by 15 November by sending an
abstract to our office reporting on your project and a short letter stating why you would like to join us in Freiburg for
the first DG-GT e.V. Academy.
