Simon Hort, M.Sc., born in 1991, studied industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University. In his master's degree, he studied industrial engineering at KIT in Karlsruhe with a focus on digitalization in production. Since 2019, he has been a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT in the department of production metrology with a focus on digitization in ATMP production. Since 2021, he is also leading the group Adaptive Production Control.
