Martin Sauer is heading the Pediatric Blood Cell Transplantation Program at the Medizinische Hochschule Hannover. He received his medical degree at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, did his pediatric residency at the University of Jena and was trained as a Pediatric Hematologist and Oncologist at the university of Minnesota. His main research interest focusses on experimental cellular therapies for leukemias and gene therapeutic approaches for inborn error diseases.
